Debbie Straw ........." " Debbie and Fran are an amazing team who are more than just photographers, they helped make our day a day we will aways remember! Not only did we get the most perfect pictures that captured our day, but Debbie and Fran are a team that all our guests are still talking about now. They helped me get ready and I will always remember the laughs we had which keeps the nerves away. It snowed on the mornng of our wedding,and yet they went above and beyond to make sure they got to the venue in good time!!! We can not recommend them enough!!!!!!!! Well where to start in recommending the AMAZING Hurst Photography team to you…..choosing our Wedding Photographer was such an important decision for us that we wanted to get it just right and BOY did we! Since receiving the first email from Debs, I knew her and Fran were going to be the perfect choice, she is absolutely mad (takes one to know one hey!) and yet so professional with it!! The visio...n they both have for their photos are incredible (it’s so entertaining and takes away any pre wedding nerves to hear their enthusiasm as the “light falls right” or when one of them frames a stunning image, this funny and friendly competitiveness ensures you get the very best pictures!) and so we have ended up with the most stunning set of images to tell the story of our magical day, every single tiny detail captured for us to remember forever!
I have really only talked of their photographic talents but I could go on and on about their other special qualities they bring; a marvellous sense of humour which helps to ease any nerves and engage even the shyest of guests (or grooms!), the ability to entertain both young and old no doubt helped out with Debs’ bag of sweetie happiness, Fran’s amazing talents when lacing up wedding dresses, a tissue passed when our reader found it all a bit overwhelming and not to mention a needle and thread (what would my chief bridesmaid have done without you!!!). These 2 ladies are truly one in a million and we couldn’t have chosen better, ALL of our guests said so too!
We will NEVER be able to thank them enough for capturing our special day in such a wonderful way, and after typing this I’m off to re-watch (maybe for a first time without crying?!) the marvellous DVD of our pictures they’ve so carefully put together! There wouldn't be enough space on here for us to write how pleased we are, not only with the finished result but the whole amazing journey we went on with Debs and Fran. Right from our first meeting with Debs we knew we had found someone special, we couldn't even wait until we got home to phone and confirm our booking, we did it from the car on the journey back!
We were made to feel at ease and ...as if we had found a friend who would not only capture but enhance and add to the day. Every detail was planned and organised with us so that we knew we were in safe hands on the day.
Debs and Fran arrived early on the morning (professional to the end, didn't want to be late!) and just effortlessly and without us even noticing got some great shots. They were not intrusive and felt like part of the day in our home. My Mum commented on how comfortable she felt having them around during the preparation stages and how they 'entertained' us and made us feel relaxed.
We had rain at the start of the day but they coped with this without any problems and ensured that the weather did not affect anything at all. We had a tight turn around to get from the church to the reception so the group photos needed to be done quickly, no problem for these two as they are so confident, professional and efficient, they moved on quickly through the shots to get them done and at no point did it feel as if it was a chore to pose for the photos. You can see this in the outcome as everyone looks relaxed and happy.
We are so incredibly happy with the photos, we honestly didn't think we could look so good! We were transported back to our magical day when watching the DVD and are not ashamed to say we spent quite a lot of time whilst looking through it in tears as it really was that good.
If you have to cut other areas of your wedding to get these two or even change the date as they are booked up- DO IT, it will be the best money you spend. We love you both and can not say thank you enough x August 2011
